Tidewater Soaring Society welcomes visiting glider pilots to bring their sailplanes and come fly with us. Must be an SSA member in good standing and join TSS as a "Visiting Member".

Cross Country Week - May 24 to June 1 - Operations duty crew and tow pilots on field every day ready to go.

 

VA-Carolina Cross Country Tour Weekend - coupled with Cross Country Week - May 24 to June 1. This is the second year for TSS to host a stop on the tour. Several visiting pilots attended last year and were treated to strong thermal conditions and an out and back task qualified for Silver Distance. TSS members traveled enforce to the Harnett County and Bermuda High stops on the Tour last year as well.

 

Experimental Sailplane Asociation Eastern Workshop - June 14 and 15

 

TSS will have a large soaring static display at the VA-EAA 2008 Air Expo at Suffolk Airport (SFQ) June 14 and 15.
